In Britain, many new technologies have been developed, principally in life sciences. The country saw an early maturity of the function of university TLO, and new technologies and businesses are closely connected with each other, which also involve alliances with non-British partners. Under the title, "Insights into UK Technology Transfer Collaborations and a Case Study of a Successful Biotech Spin-Off," the workshop has invited four speakers from Britain.
