Mr. Yokota graduated from the Dept. of Architecture, School of Science and Engineering at Waseda Univ. After graduation, he worked for a general construction company, a think tank firm, a loss adjustment firm, and others. Since 2000, Mr. Yokota has taken charge of real property financing matters at security firms in and outside Japan. He has engaged in the field of real estate investment trust (REIT) since the Japanese REIT market's creation. He moved to Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. in 2009 and served as the head of the new listing department. From April 2021 to March 2023, he was seconded to the Organization of Global Financial City, Tokyo as the secretary general. From April 2023, he is in charge of financial and economic education as Director of Financial Literacy Support Department, Tokyo Stock Exchange. Currently serving as a board member of the Board of Policies for Real Estate Investment Market in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT), a Real Property Appraiser, and a first-class registered architect. Mr. Yokota is also a lecturer at the School for Management Research at the Graduate School, Waseda Univ.

What I expect of LINK-J

I expect that LINK-J, as a hub for the Japanese bioscience industry, will provide a number of biotech ventures with enough support for them to grow beyond being startup biotech ventures and become globally competitive players.
