One important quest of healthcare is to prevent adverse events in individuals. The pandemic has been a worldwide tragedy, but it has brought a huge growth of telemedicine. Meanwhile, the proliferation of sensors and AI have increased availability of real time monitoring, and the development of correlations of an individual’s data to health outcomes. Combining all these factors and other data such as genetic sequencing and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) offer the opportunity to predict adverse events in patients.
We will have Dean Lloyd Minor of the Stanford University School of Medicine as our keynote speaker and will also feature Japanese companies interested in products and technologies that might advance this concept and also interested in expanding their business and strategic partnerships in the US and globally.
