Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) is hosting a special seminar featuring students from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health who participated in the Fukushima Field Program. Based on their fieldwork in Fukushima, including research conducted in Aizuwakamatsu and other locations, student groups will present their analysis and policy recommendations on three key themes: Health Monitoring, Environmental Decontamination, and Risk Communication. This seminar provides an opportunity to understand Fukushima’s recovery 14 years after the disaster from both local and international perspectives, offering insights into future community resilience, disaster response, and environmental and health policies.
