On Thursday, October 23, 2025, LINK-J held the UNIKORN Program Special Event titled “A Global Perspective for Japanese Startups – Insights from Global Mentors to Help Japanese Startups Thrive” at the GLOBAL LIFE SCIENCE HUB.
UNIKORN is a global expansion support program for startups by LINK-J and we have conducted many activities since we launched 2nd cohort in this May.
At this event, UNIKORN mentors in Japan, Mr Philippe Fauchet and Mr James Feliciano, who have extensive experience at global pharmaceutical companies, shared key insights on what Japanese startups should focus on to succeed internationally.
Following the keynote speeches by both speakers, we held a panel discussion moderated by Ikuo Hayashi from LINK-J, where we further explored the topic of business development for startups. We received numerous questions from both the on-site audience and online participants.
Approximately 40 participants attended the event at the venue. After the panel discussion, we held a networking session, which was lively and full of engaging conversations.
Participants shared positive feedback such as, “The talks by both speakers were insightful and got to the heart of the matter,” and “It was a great session that clearly organized the key points to focus on in business development.”
