Dr. Mizunuma holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo after completing her bachelor’s at Kyoto University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and is a licensed pharmacist. She began her career at AstraZeneca, managing new drug launch preparations and medical strategy, then joined McKinsey & Company to support life science clients in new business creation and organizational transformation. She later founded the chatbot driven online Kampo pharmacy “Watashikampo” and successfully exited the business. At Craif, she now leads the research and business development of ultra early cancer detection technology—leveraging AI analysis of urinary biomarkers—as well as fundraising and organizational scaling.
