Yuji Yamamoto is the founder and CEO of MinaCare Co., Ltd., a company that manages the health of approximately three million people through data analysis in partnership with health insurers. Prior to embarking on these ventures, he worked as a cardiologist in Japan and spent six years practicing in several leading hospitals, including the University of Tokyo Hospital and Tokyo Metropolitan Hospitals. He has authored several books, including "Investing in Health," and translated "Redefining Health Care" by Harvard professor Michael Porter and "Innovator's Prescription" by Harvard professor Clayton Christensen. He earned his M.D. from the University of Tokyo, where he also obtained his medical license. He is a board-certified member of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
