【概要】

iPS細胞を用いた他家細胞療法の開発には、免疫原性、ゲノムの安定性、分化の一貫性と拡張性、そして規制と品質管理の複雑さといった課題がつきまといます。

本セミナーでは、Cellisticがどのようにこれらの大きな課題に取り組んでいるかをご紹介します。具体的には、確立されたプラットフォームを使用して、Cellisticは細胞治療の開発と製造を簡素化し、リスクを軽減し、スピードアップを図ります。

CellisticのSTAR CRISPR、Pulse、Echoの各プラットフォームは、専門家のアドバイスと精度をiPSC工学プロセスに統合することで、初期概念設計から商業的医薬品開発までのプラグイン・アンド・プレイ開発を提供し、時間とリソースの支出を最小限に抑えます。

私たちは、製品に特化した、遺伝子編集されたマスターセルバンク（MCB）を開発し、さらに、材料の調達からiPSCの再プログラム、最終的な細胞医薬品に至るまでの全過程を通じて、当局のコンプライアンスを遵守しながら、末端の細胞タイプに拡大・分化させます。また、独自のSTAR-CRISPRプラットフォームでは、高度な細胞治療の開発に不可欠な、自社で作製したGMP iPSC株と組み合わせた精密な遺伝子編集オプションを提供しています。

Developing iPSC-based allogeneic cell therapies has ever been challenged by immunogenicity, genomic stability, differentiation consistency and scalability, and last but not least regulatory and quality control complexities.

In this seminar I will present how Cellistic is tackling these major challenges. By using established platforms, Cellistic simplifies, de-risks, and speeds up the development and manufacture of cell therapies.

Cellistic's STAR CRISPR, Pulse and Echo platforms offers plug-in-and-play development from initial concept to commercial drug product by integrating expert advice and accuracy into the iPSC engineering process, minimizing time and resource expenditures.

We develop product-specific, gene edited master cell banks (MCBs) and further taking them to expand and differentiate into terminal cell types with compliance to authorities through the entire process from sourcing material to reprogram iPSC till final cell drug product. The proprietary STAR-CRISPR platform provides precise gene editing options in combination with inhouse generated GMP iPSC lines, which are vital for the development of advanced cell therapies.

ヤーン博士は、ドイツのヴィッテン/ヘルデッケ大学(Witten/Herdecke Uniersity)で免疫学の博士号を取得。豊富な実務経験を有し、ミルテニーバイオテク社(Miltenyi Biotec)では10年以上にわたりグローバル事業開発マネージャーとしてCliniMACSシステムなどの人気製品を統括。キャタレント・ファーマ・ソリューション社(Catalent Pharma Solution)の事業開発担当シニア・ディレクターを経て、現在はセリスティック社(Cellstic)の欧州・アジア事業開発担当バイス・プレジデントを務める。
