本年10月7日（火）、BioJapan2025（10月8日（水）～10日（金）＠パシフィコ横浜）に先立ち、京都大学の先端研究の紹介、京都大学イノベーションキャピタル株式会社の支援先スタートアップによるピッチ、ならびに事業会社の新規事業担当者様・CVC担当者様との交流を目的としたプレイベントを東京にて開催いたします。
本イベントは、基礎研究の成果をいかに社会実装へつなげるかを、多様な立場から議論し考える機会です。産・官・学のあらゆるセクターからのご参加をお待ちしております。BioJapanの前日の開催になりますので、BioJapanへのご参加に合わせて、企業やベンチャーキャピタルの皆様はもちろん、産学連携や起業に関心をお持ちの研究者の方々もぜひご参加ください。

On Tuesday, October 7, ahead of BioJapan 2025 (October 8–10 at Pacifico Yokohama), we will hold a pre-event featuring presentations on Kyoto University’s cutting-edge research, pitches by startups supported by Kyoto University Innovation Capital Co., Ltd., and networking opportunities with corporate new business development teams and CVC representatives.
This event will provide a unique opportunity to discuss how to translate the outcomes of fundamental research into societal implementation, from a variety of perspectives. We warmly welcome participation from all sectors—industry, government, and academia. In addition to companies and venture capital firms, researchers interested in industry-academia collaboration or entrepreneurship are also encouraged to attend. Speakers include Professors Koji Eto, Keisei Sowa, Seirin Lee, and Takahiro Yamashita at KYOTO DAY, along with five startups supported by KUiCAP at CVC event.
