日本医療政策機構(HGPI)では、医療政策のオピニオンリーダーやイノベーターを招き、さまざまな医療政策のテーマに関するセミナーを開催しています。
今回のHGPIセミナーでは、桜美林大学リベラルアーツ学群准教授の小関俊祐氏をお招きします。小関氏は、公認心理師の会教育・特別支援部会長、日本ストレスマネジメント学会常任理事、日本認知・行動療法学会理事などを務められ、日本におけるこどものストレスマネジメント研究を牽引されています。
本セミナーでは、近年小中高生の自殺数が統計開始以来の最多水準が続く中、こどものメンタルヘルスの現状と課題について詳しく解説いただくとともに、認知行動アプローチを基盤とした予防的なストレスマネジメント教育の重要性についてご講演いただきます。本セミナーを通じて、こどもの時期からストレスマネジメントのスキルを身につけることの意義や実践的な取り組みについて、皆様と共に考える機会としたいと考えております。
■ 登壇者プロフィール
小関 俊祐(桜美林大学リベラルアーツ学群 准教授)
山形県生まれ。2009年兵庫教育大学連合大学院博士課程修了、博士(学校教育学)。日本学術振興会特別研究員、愛知教育大学助教、同講師を経て、2014年より桜美林大学講師、2019年より現職。公認心理師、日本ストレスマネジメント学会認定ストレスマネジメント®実践士、認知行動療法スーパーバイザー®の資格を有する。現在、公認心理師の会教育・特別支援部会長、日本ストレスマネジメント学会常任理事、日本認知・行動療法学会理事などの要職を務める。著書に「小中高をシームレスにつなぐ ストレスマネジメント教育プログラム」(金子書房、共著)、「自立活動の視点に基づく高校通級指導プログラム」(金子書房、共編著)、「こどもと一緒に取り組む園生活でのこどものストレス対処法」(中央法規、編著)などがある。

(Webinar) The 138th HGPI Seminar “Stress Management Education that Protects Children’s Futures – The Importance of Preventive Mental Health Support” (August 28, 2025)

Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) holds seminars with opinion leaders and innovators on a wide-range of domestic and international topics related to health policy.
In this HGPI seminar, we will invite Prof. Shunsuke Koseki, Associate Professor at the J. F. Oberlin University College of Arts and Sciences. Prof. Koseki serves as Chair of the Education and Special Support Board of the Japanese Society of Certified Public Psychologist, Executive Director of the Japan Society of Stress Management, and Board Member of the Japanese Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, leading research in stress management for children in Japan.
In this seminar, Prof. Koseki will provide detailed explanations of the current circumstances and challenges for children's mental health, particularly as suicide rates among elementary, middle school, and high school students remain near record highs since statistics were first collected. He will also discuss the importance of preventive stress management education based on cognitive-behavioral approaches. Through this seminar, we hope to provide an opportunity to discuss the significance of acquiring stress management skills from childhood and practical initiatives in this field.
■Speaker's Profile
Prof. Shunsuke Koseki (Associate Professor, College of Arts and Sciences, J. F. Oberlin University)
Professor Shunsuke Koseki was born in Yamagata Prefecture. He earned a Ph.D. in School Education from the Joint Graduate School in Science of School Education at the Hyogo University of Teacher Education in 2009. After serving as Research Fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Aichi University of Education, he joined J. F. Oberlin University as a Lecturer in 2014 and assumed his current position in 2019. He is a Certified Public Psychologist, a Japan Society of Stress Management Stress Management Practitioner®, and a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Supervisor®. His other roles include Chair, Education and Special Support Board, Japanese Society of Certified Public Psychologist; Executive Director, Japan Society of Stress Management; and Board Member, Japanese Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. His published works include Stress Management Education Programs that Seamlessly Connect Elementary, Middle, and High School (Kanekoshobo; as co-author), A Guidance Program on Special-Needs Support for High School Students Based on the Perspective of Independent Activities (Kanekoshobo; as co-editor), and Stress Management Techniques for Parents and Children for Managing Life at Preschool (Chuohoki Publishing CO., Ltd.; as editor).
