Japan Night@San Francisco was held (1/12)

On January 12, 2026, LINK-J hosted "Japan Night @ San Francisco" in San Francisco.

This event was held as a side event of the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference with the aim of fostering networking and creating synergies among key stakeholders in the life sciences sectors of Japan and the United States.
(Organized by LINK-J, the Japan Society of Northern California, CMIC, and Digital Garage)

The J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, held annually since 1983, is the largest investor-focused symposium in the life sciences and healthcare industries, attracting thousands of investors and industry professionals from around the world. Taking advantage of this unique opportunity when life science leaders from across the globe gather in one place, LINK-J has been hosting “Japan Night” since 2023 to provide networking opportunities for participants from Japan and overseas.

The event opened with welcoming remarks by Mr. Kotaro Otsuki, Consul General of Japan in San Francisco, and Mr. Steve Pollock, President of the Japan Society of Northern California.

This was followed by remarks from Ms. Keiko Oishi, Representative Director, President of CMIC Holdings, and Professor Hideyuki Okano, Chairman of the Board, LINK-J.

Approximately 400 participants joined the event from Japan, the United States, and other countries, underscoring the growing significance of Japan Night as a platform for promoting international networking.
Moving forward, we hope not only to further strengthen networks among Japanese participants, but also to actively engage overseas stakeholders with an interest in Japan, nurturing this event as a bridge between Japan and the global life sciences community.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who supported the organization of this event and to everyone who participated.
